The real crux of learning a language well is the ability to get out and converse with native speakers, using what you’ve learnt. Obviously this can be tricky, depending on your circumstances and the languages you’re learning — but technology has opened up masses of opportunities to level this field.

We have said it many times, but we’ll say it again — it’s all about authenticity! This is our main goal at EF Hello — creating authentic material, and as much as possible recreating authentic experiences, to help you learn as efficiently as possible.

We use technology, and content created by linguistic experts and native speakers, to replicate real-life language learning opportunities. We’re super proud of what we have managed to create — and even more proud to see it helping keen language-learners, like Mónica, all over the world.

Mónica, already fluent in Spanish and English, wanted another challenge, and having always loved French culture, she chose to learn French.

However, she hit a block — she found that, after a certain level, her current learning sources were not helping her improve. She was learning French in abstract, unable to put anything she learnt into practice. Scouting around for different options, she landed on EF Hello, drawn to our USP of authenticity and hasn’t been disappointed:
